Forrest Lang is a tattoo artists, veteran, author, speaker, and Founder of SPARTA Peer Support. Forrest grew up in California’s foster care system, where he experienced poverty, abuse, and homelessness. Joining the military saved him. After he deployed to Iraq and served as a line Corpsman in 2004 community, plus meditation with fellow veterans, taught him how to save himself. Forrest began holding meditation meetings for fellow veterans in 2015 and has facilitated weekly meetings since.
